Welcome Back Message from the Executive Director

Welcome Back Message from the Executive Director
Posted on 09/14/2020
The Faculty of RSTA and I welcome our students, their families and caregivers, and all the community supporters who are a part of RSTA, to our program’s website for the 2020-2021 school year.

The COVID-19 pandemic has created a significant change in the way our school helps to educate students. We are all committed to the health and safety of our students. Because so much of what we want students to learn is based upon the development of technical skills that historically are taught through hands-on activities and work place learning experiences, we have had to redesign instruction to address both objectives: student safety and the development of skills needed to succeed in our courses. While all RSTA courses will begin as remote learning experiences, the RSTA faculty and I are continuously working to create opportunities that will allow our students to gain the experiential knowledge and skills associated with Career & Technical Education.

Individuals employers, corporations, and small businesses are invited to contact the RSTA Coordinator of Career Advising, Sara Reese (by email or (617.349.6765), if you are interested in partnering with us by providing a job-shadow, internship, or Cooperative Education placement for a well-qualified RSTA junior or senior at your workplace..

We look forward to another interesting year for the students and faculty of RSTA. Please connect with the RSTA Faculty and me – we’d love to share with you the great things that are being done here to help prepare our students for success in life after high school.
